There is no back hackle (the hackle's choice not mine). It would have been a full blown akroyd but I didn't have yellow hackle, ironic isn't it. The wingset frustrated me to no end. I slapped the left on first try and the right would NOT cooperate. Third time is the charm right? The last fly is the General Practitioner. I used red marker to cover up the butts on the larger one because when I applied head cement the red would become somewhat transparent and the white tags would show through. The red marker dye then decided to separate and I now have a beautiful puke green head. It has since then been colored with after the top coat.
