Press & Release: OUTREACH!
A Lake Erie - Upper Niagara River Angler Outreach Event will be held at Woodlawn Beach State Park on Tuesday, June 2 from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m., New York State Department of Environmental Conservation announced today.
"DEC is committed to sound management of Lake Erie and Upper Niagara River fisheries to maintain high-quality angling opportunities and associated economic benefits," said DEC Regional Fisheries Manager Mike Clancy. "This event provides an excellent opportunity for anglers to interact with the biologists who study and manage Great Lakes fisheries."
The free seminar will take place at Woodlawn Beach State Park's Lodge, and will begin with informal discussion and poster exhibits. This will be followed by a series of presentations on Lake Erie and the Upper Niagara River fisheries topics, including an opportunity for angler feedback on future fishing regulations. The meeting will conclude with questions and an open discussion.
Key members of Lake Erie and Niagara River's fisheries management and research community will present Lake Erie fisheries management topics, including status of important fish stocks, new research initiatives, and habitat improvement projects on the Niagara River.
This seminar is sponsored by DEC's Lake Erie Fisheries Unit and Region 9 Fisheries offices. Anyone interested is welcome to attend this free event and registration is not required.

What a bunch of bullshit.
Why don't we invite the Ohio Div of Wildlife and the Penn Fish and Boat Comm to said event? Be more informative and less expensive.

That's why Except for stray Steelhead (thank you very much, Pa.), I don't think Pa & Oh effects the river much

I meant maybe we could invite PA and OH to educate NY. They can't seem to get it together, the same way those states are. That was my point, MrK.
