I got a question from a novice to all you well seasoned anglers out there. If I were to head down to the Big River in the Tonawandas right now (2-23-16)to do some casting and practice my mends and drifts ect ect what; if anything should I expect to possibly hook into?? Thoughts???

the cold water fishies of the upper river should be available but the warmer water ones probably won't play at 34ยบ.
the lower river would be a better bet for actually catching something but not as good for practicing.

Yeah I am talking just heading down with an hours worth of day light after work. Just getting out and practicing roll casts and mends ect ect.
