Hello everyone, I was wondering if there is any Spey & Switch Casting Classes or Groups around here or if not if anyone would want to get together like once a week for an hour or 2 & practice, critique & teach? If anyone is interested, wants to learn and hopefully someone who knows what they're doing we could all decide on a day/time & place that's equidistant from everyone. Since I'm first in asking I'll bring the beer & pop for the first go at it. Lemme know via this board if your interested, what day/time & location works for you and if we get at least a couple willing people we can then decide on a place & meet up. It'd be nice if we could meet up at least 2-3x's before October is half over with between fishing & hunting everyone's free time will be pretty much taken up. Hopefully someone who is familiar w/ Spey & Switch casts is among those who reply because I for one am basically clueless aside from roll casts....

I'd also be interested. I bought an 11' 8 wt switch for musky flies. 1st time I cast in the yard, I added 30' onto my distance. I took it to Keuka Lake to practice casting on the end of the dock. It was effortless. All I know about it is that with real big flies I can't use the traditional anchor point but have to do a two-handed overhead surf cast (I think). I'm doing it self-taught but don't know what the he77 I'm doing. It is much easier on the shoulder & wrists though. I'd def be interested in getting together
