This is a very affective Gaspe pattern that was originally made for fishing the Dartmouth River. Andre Belaieff invented it. Andre lived in the town of Gaspe for a time, were he ran a small fly shop. He has since left Gaspe but still fishes, guides and teaches on the Gaspe. Hook: Up eye salmon hook Tag: Oval gold tinsel Rib: Oval gold tinsel Body: Flat silver tinsel Wing: Olive Krystal flash and yellow marabou mixed Collar: insect green hackle. Head: Red
