This muddler type pattern was originated by John Cuco in 1966. He named the fly after the George river in Labrador. It has since become popular on the Gaspe Peninsula. Hook: Up eye salmon hook Tail: Red hackle fibers Butt: Fluorescent green chenille. Body: Black wool. Wing: Silver or grey Fox body hair Head & Collar: Black deer body hair spun and trimmed.
