This is a newer fly invented by Dec Hogan, a firefighter from Salt Lake City, Utah. Dec was a guide in Washington State for 15 years and still teaches and writes about steelhead fishing. He has recently released a great book called "A Passion for Steelhead". The fly is named for his friend Jerry Mahoney and is used as a winter and spring fly. Hook: Up eye salmon hook.
