Fish hard and leave a good looking carp. Sort of a James Dean thing. Should borrow Sweetgrass' logo with the Yin Yang done with two carp. Maybe a "tour schedule" of places like eagle lookout, beaver island and buckhorn island, other locations on back. Maybe Tim would go for a pole dancing carp in a pleated skirt. Or even a carp with a roller derby helmet on its head.

I think it would take a carp with a fat belly and poor eyesight at this point

I'll be fishing, but have to bail before the award dinner. So sorry no Balsamic black bean salad this time. Unless someone wants me to PM the top secret instructions

nice Joe, congratulations!
OK sportsfans we have a new Carp-O-Rama winner this year. Will Tyson our after party host managed to beat out the competition with a 36" fish. several other were caught including fish up to 30". this may be the most carp ever landed at the event. it took us a while to settle on a date but i guess we did all right. thank you to all who participated. special thanks to Will and Kelly Tyson and the Black family for being such gracious hosts.
till next year fellow losers!

Congrats to Will for winning and thanks to him and his family for letting the carpers borrow his backyard for the evening. Another thanks to the shop for holding such a great event.
It was way fun this year and nice to see many fish caught. The after party was also entertaining. As usual. Between talks of smut, naked jet ski dudes and what not, I had many laughs.

"this may be the most carp ever landed at the event." We should try and get a total. (along with how many guys were there) I landed one, 28" and had 5 good eats that I missed Wylie landed one 29 1/2" his first and had at leased 3 or 4 other eats that I saw, he can confirm. Canadian Steve, I'm sure landed the most, I hope he didn't loose count at a shit ton Is Larry on the site? he took a ton of pictures. Nate's lower lip hook 1st one

Had a great time at Carp O Rama! As mentioned this was my first time landing a carp. I would describe the experience of catching a carp somewhere along the lines of grabbing a tiger by the tail. It was so nice of Will and his family to host the after party again and I wish I could have stuck around. Instead I made a b-line back to Jersey.
Great catching up with everyone!
