I'm having to bow out of this one folks. Anyone out there wants to take my spot....by all means do so. We're in the middle of buying and selling a house. I've just recently pulled my vice outta storage to let off some steam. And I can honestly say I've only touched my fly rod 3 times this summer Its been a rough one for me. I've still yet to finish painting my garage and I have a young couple coming to look at my house tonite. Once again I'm sorry folks......I'll make it up to you next time....promise!

dave..much thanks to you for putting together another successful fly swap. With the ties we got today, those steelies won't have a chance. they might as well roll themselves onto the shore & spare themselves the fight!! ..and thanks to all the guys for the fabulous flies. It'll be hard to put one on a leader & fish it. They just look too good to do that & they're nothing that I could tie yet(but someday will). It was nice getting together & seeing everyone again...Charlie, pat, dave, psycho timmy & everyone else., and to tip a few in the meantime...and after hearing timmy tell a few stories, now I know why they call him psycho. I also now know why I won't walk with him in a thunderstorm. And most of all, thanks to nick for graciously letting us use the store. If it was held anywhere else, they would have thrown us scallywags out early on. On to tying the eggs florentine!!

Yes it was a great swap. And like JJ said, a big thanks to Nick. All I did was set up a thread for the swap. Nick was nice enough to lets us do it at the shop, and even though he was not a part of the fly tying, he was nice enough to get involved with the swapping/convos.
Franks flies were sitting on my doorstep when I got home, so everyone let me know the best way to get them to you. They are very nice, and he tied 3 different color combos. Very cool looking flies

Great swap boys. I always love the opportunity to sit around laugh and tip a few with you guys. Thanks Dave for setting it up and of course Nick for letting us use the shop to host it.

Sorry for being a day late guys. Had a little trouble getting to the post office on time. I think you'll really like the pattern though.
Can't wait to see them all!!

It was a great time. Thanks Dave and Nick for organizing and providing a drinking table for the swap. The flies are going to inspire me for my steelhead tying, thanks everyone for the great flies.
I can't wait to see Frank's flies.
So, when will the winter spawn bag swap flies be due?
